Description:

Come to the Well of Living Water…Our Life of Prayer
Do you struggle with prayer? Most of us do. Even the Apostles pleaded with Jesus: “Teach us to pray.” And he did. Jesus taught them the “Abba Prayer” - “Our Father.”

For many of us, our lives are so busy with work, the demands of family, the needs of friends that we have little time left for God. And when we do find a quiet moment, we’re just too worn out to pray. The well in our life of prayer has run dry. We thirst. And so we plead with Jesus: “Teach us to pray.”

During this weekend, we will struggle together as we explore prayer. We will wrestle with questions. What is prayer? If God knows all, then why pray? Does prayer change God’s mind? When should we pray and how? For whom should we pray and what?

We will discover that prayer is nothing more, nothing less, than expressing ourselved intimately and honestly with the one who loves us most.
