Dear Friends, Br Kurt & Mom
God has truly blessed us! As I have said and always will say God gives us Grace each day of our life but it is up to each one of us to respond to that Grace. This is what makes Christ the King Passionist Retreat Center a Sacred Place on Holy Ground!

I would like to ask you something, "If you have had a God moment, especially here at the retreat center, and would like to share it with us, please feel free to email me. I cannot guarantee that we will publish it, but we will give praise and thanks to our Loving Creator for God’s Grace in your life!

Our theme for the retreat season is "Let Us Go up to the House of the Lord: Dwelling in the Heart of God." I am truly excited about it because I know how many of us need a place to call home, dwelling where we are loved and embraced for who we are. "Welcome Home" is one of the most heartwarming greetings we can receive, is it not!? We recall those comforting words of Jesus, "In my Father’s house, there are many dwelling places. I am going to prepare a place for you." (John 14:2) Please make a strong effort to come on a retreat and bring a friend of yours or a family member who can benefit from this moment of Grace.

So much is going on here from a special food & wine gala, "Taste of Italy," to men’s and women’s retreats to contemplative evenings of prayer to centering prayer to T’ai Chi Chic to 12-Step Retreat Weekends to married couples retreats to young adult gatherings to workshops on social justice to The Institute for the Study of the Passion to a retreat on Transforming Grief to another retreat on Praying in the Celtic Spirit to Ecumenical Interfaith Evenings of Prayer, and the list goes on and on!!!

In 2011-2012, we will be celebrating our 62nd Anniversary! I want to make it a very special year but I need your assistance and the help of your parish. Please let as many of your fellow parishioners know that Christ the King Passionist Retreat is their home away from home.

May God bless you and please be assured that you and your family are in my prayers and the prayers of the Passionist Community.

Mi casa es su casa!
