St. Paul of the Cross Pergola and Garden
A pergola stands at the crest of the mountain, overlooking a staute of the Holy Founder, St. Paul of the Cross. It affords a view of the entire Los Angeles basin. With two streams flowing through the garden, the area is an ideal place for personal meditation.
Chapel
The Mater Dolorosa Chapel, renovated in 2000, seats over 110 and is a perfect setting for deep personal devotion, as well as Liturgy and prayer services.
Mater Dolorosa Library
A quiet reading area where spiritual books or pamphlets can be read or where groups of 6-8 can meet.

Possenti Hall accommodates groups up to 250
The Monastery Memorial Gardens
Dedicated in September of 1999, the Memorial Gardens offer opportunities for prayer and devotion.
The Outdoor Amphitheater is ideal for prayer services and outdoor Liturgy. Seating over 100, the amphitheater offers a spectacular view of the valley and the mountains.
The magnificent Garden of the Seven Sorrows, a semi-cloistered area, calls people to silent prayer, meditation and reflection. Featuring mosaics of six of the Sorrows and a life size bronze image of the 4th Sorrow, the area touches the hearts of men and women of all cultures.
Stations of the Cross
The beautiful and unique outdoor Stations are a feature attraction of Mater Dolorosa. The walk through the Stations (about 1/4 mile) is approximately the same length as the walk of Christ to Calvary.
The Blessed Sacrament Garden
In this small, enclosed garden, men and women kneel and pray in front of the Tabernacle, a truly faith-giving experience.
