The cross reminds me that according to Job in the Old Testament, ’The Lord gives and the Lord takes away.’ From the new Testament I know that after the Lord takes away, the Lord Redeems. I pray to God that I want to join Him in Jesus’ death and resurrection for my redemption. In this way I can work for Him in a more redeemed state.”
