“Participate in the Paschal mystery. Today, we preach around the Paschal mystery, not just the suffering and dying of Jesus, but also the rising of Christ. We keep trying to call people into that energy force so to speak, into that dying, rising with Christ. As a result, it is a type of preaching that is highly focused. It’s very repentance, conversion oriented. Our preaching is always calling people more to a personal transformation by the power of the Holy Spirit. And we point out the darkness of the process, the dying, the Cross dimension of Christian transformation. Our preaching centers around the Cross. In today’s Church, we also stress the Resurrection. It is not a gloomy, negative, pain filled life that we proclaim, rather it is a joyful life in the Holy Spirit, but it is also the call into participation in the suffering as well as the resurrection of Christ.”
Fr. Blaise Czaja, CP, 6.10.08
