“Be an instrument of Gospel Justice. My faith is meaningful insofar as it actually serves God and I serve God by serving my brothers and sisters, especially when they are in the midst of suffering.
My wife and I complement each other by having our faith serve the suffering human community in two very different but equally important way. My wife focuses on the service of individual people in need. Specifically she volunteers in helping local shelters and basic education such as GED or ESL.
I tend to focus on social issues that cause suffering. This includes looking at domestic economic and social policies, international human right violations, global economic justice and issues of environmental degradation. I am fortunate enough to be able to directly serve God through my full-time ministry where I can help organize and advocate the Gospel message on many of these global and domestic issues through the Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation office of the Passionist Community in North America. I serve God by being an instrument of Gospel Justice in the midst of social suffering.”
